Support from the Supervisory Board

Bad Neustadt a.d. Saale. As Co-CEO Dr. Michael Roesnick (65) will represent on an interim basis the President and CEO of the Preh GmbH Christoph Hummel (53), who due to health reasons is temporary prevented to perform his tasks. Dr. Roesnick, who was Preh President and CEO from 1999 to the end of 2015, has therefore been appointed by the Supervisory Board on an interim basis as a further Managing Director at Preh GmbH to provide support. He has held the Chairmanship there since April 2016. The current member of the Board of Directors Jeff Wang will take over the Chairmanship of the Supervisory Board from Dr. Michael Roesnick.

Jeff Wang said: “We wish to see Christoph Hummel recover as soon as possible. However, the current industry situation is so tense that we do not want to leave the crucial position of CEO vacant during Mr. Hummel’s absence. We are delighted that Dr. Michael Roesnick has agreed to this interim solution and are convinced that we have found the ideal team which will benefit the company.”

“The most important thing at the moment is that Mr. Hummel will recover as soon as possible,” said Dr. Michael Roesnick. “While I no longer intended to take on such an active management role, I would like to help the company, which is very close to my heart, in the best possible way, and I look forward to working with the Preh team.”
